Hua Hin Golf

Hua Hin is now recognised as a first class golfing destination. There are six challenging courses within 25 minutes drive of the town. All the courses are 18 hole and have a par of 72. 

Golf carts, caddies, golf clubs and shoes available for rent on every course. Green fees vary from course to course but it’s cheaper to play during the week, as rates are usually increased at weekends when the courses are busy.

Royal Hua Hin Golf Course

This was the first golf course to be built in Thailand and is also the closest to Hua Hin, a few minutes drive from the centre of town.

Great views of the Hua Hin coastline and the mountains to the west of the town are afforded from anywhere on the course and if you need to practice your swing the course also incorporates the Mai Pai driving range.

Shower facilities are available in the locker room and there is a restaurant serving good Thai food.

Majestic Creek Country Club

Majestic Creek is located 22 kilometres away, on the main road towards Cha-Am.

The clubhouse has changing and showering facilities and there is a nice restaurant, serving a range of European and Thai food.

Imperial Lake View Hotel & Golf Course

Managed by the Imperial Hotel Group, the course is 19 kilometres out of Hua Hin, heading north on the road to Cha-Am.

There are two courses available to play – a par 72, 18 hole Championship course and a 9 hole ‘Desert’ course, with a par of 36. The main course is regarded by many as the finest in the area and is very popular with local golfers.

This stunning Jack Nicklaus designed course is around 20 kilometres north of Hua Hin and was voted as one of the top ten courses in Thailand by readers of Golf Digest magazine.

The course provides an interesting challenge from any of the many tee placements and is very popular with local golf enthusiasts and holiday makers alike.

Palm Hills Resort & Country Club

Palm Hills is close to Hua Hin, on the northern outskirts of the town.

The course is designed to give a Scottish ‘links’ feel and there are great views over the Gulf of Thailand and the mountains to the west of the town.

The club incorporates a sports centre and has excellent locker facilities. There is also a restaurant serving European, Thai and Japanese food.

Milford Paradise Resort & Golf Club

The course is approximately a 15 minute drive south of Hua Hin on the way to nearby town of Pranburi. Milford organise a complimentary daily shuttle service to and from Hua Hin.

Milford is a little different to the longer championship courses described above but affords magnificent sea views from all areas of it’s beachfront layout.
