Hua
Hin has over 50 bars located throughout the town centre. They
are generally open from early morning to around 1am. All of
the bars offer a wide choice of both Thai and imported drinks.
So you'll never be far from that thirst quenching ice cold beer
or a luscious cocktail.
Hua Hin has four popular nightclubs. The Hua Hin Brewing Company,
located in the Hua Hin Hilton hotel, is the most
popular club for expats in town. They have live music from
the resident band and local DJ’s play the latest dance
music.
Star Planet, located in the City Beach Hotel,
has a great Thai-style cabaret and is a good night out. Stepz,
located near the Grand Hotel caters mostly for Thais and is
a great place to go if you love Thai music.
And finally, Hin
Nam Sai Suay is located five kilometres north of the town centre,
on the main Petchkasem highway. This large club again caters
mostly for Thai people and has live music, cabaret and Thai
comics, along with a mix of the latest Thai and western dance
music. Tourists and expats are welcome. |
If you’re a fan of live music there are a few bars in
town with resident bands. The Hilton and Sofitel hotels have
in house jazz bars and are very easy going and laid back. The
Takiab pub, a few yards down from the Hilton is a rock, blues
and rock n roll bar and is very popular with tourists and expats.
There are several other bars in town playing a mixture of Thai
rock and country music.
Other places to go include the night market, where you stroll
along and leisurely browse the many handicrafts on sale. For
more functional items there is also the weekly Grand Market
- just by the Grand Hotel. (Please note that this market only
operates Wednesday - Sunday).
